HappyTap was born out of necessity as a mother of two active kids who were always determined to get their hands on water—no matter the challenge! Whether it was dragging chairs, climbing benches, or causing spills from the fridge, water was everywhere. After countless messes and a lot of frustration, I realized we needed an outdoor tap that was safe, easy for my one-year-old to use, but couldn’t be turned into a water fight by my son. Most importantly, it had to conserve water since we rely on rainwater tanks on our rural property. And that’s when the idea for HappyTap was born—a solution for carefree, safe, and water-efficient play!
Our vision for HappyTap is to give kids easy access to water play, knowing how beneficial it is for their development. Water play helps children feel grounded and calm—something we believe is more important than ever in today’s screen-filled world. Plus, HappyTap ensures a mess-free solution that also conserves water, creating fun without the waste.
